goQueue Features and Compatibility

This document is about the features and compatibility for goQueue. It is base on Queue@Nodejs v3.x and Usher&Client v13.x and goSignage v1.8.x.

Features Terminology

API	Remote queuing Application Program Interface
CMS	Central server for manage and store queuing information, manage signage playlist
Queue@NodeJS	Shop server application
Server	Shop server which hosted Queue@NodeJS
Queue Display	A web page which shows current queuing. It wraps in goSignage WebView
Client	goQueue Client application
Usher	goQueue Usher application
Client@goSignage	goQueue Client user interface integrated into goSignage
Client Web Page	goQueue Client web page user interface
Call Number	Broadcast a queuing number.
Configurable Call Number	Able to set a different number and sequence of language. Supported languages
Printing	Print queuing ticket. Able to set to print a ticket from different place
Advertisement	Image or video playlist play by goSignage
Screen Saver	Prevent LCD monitor burn out
Flexible Queue Group	Able to set different range and number of group
Fast-pass	Bump a VIP member up on the queue
Customize Layout Theme	Able to set foreground color, background color, font color, and font size
Special Request	Able to hide/show for a set of icons. The label can change as well
Maximum Request	Able to restrict too many people of a ticket
